August “Gus” Lawrence Lock, 89, Lewisville, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
He was born Oct. 24, 1933, to the late Leo and Anthone (Hoffman) Lock in Koeltztown.
He served his country in the U. S. Marines during the Korean War.
Gus was preceded in death by parents, Leo and Anthone; wife, Lucille; sisters Lilian Welshmeyer, Roberta Boehmer, Pauline Gardner and Leona Gradel; and grandson, Nathan Marks.
He is survived by children, Cheryl Marks and husband Jonathan and Suzanne Foerster and husband Terry; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph Lock and wife Janie; and companion, Mary Garcia.
Catholic Mass will be held June 3, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Freeburg.
Arrangements entrusted to Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes in Vienna.
