Three Chamois athletes qualified for sectionals at Saturday’s Class 1 District 2 meet at New Haven.
“I’m very proud of the three that got to the next round,” said Coach John Leach. “It was a very nice meet at New Haven, and all the track kids did a great job.”
Kaden Wuelling earned all-district honors and advanced to sectionals after placing second in the 110m high hurdles with a time of 18.34.
Brayden Cotton also earned all-district honors and advanced with a second-place finish in shot put at 41-5.
Savanah Sieg joined the sectional qualifiers after placing fourth in discus with a personal-best throw of 91-5.
