Cynthia Arlene York, 71, Dixon, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023, in the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.
She was born Sept. 27, 1951, to Lyle Phillip and Arlene Thelma (Sedgwick) Marshall at West Point, N. Y.
She was united in marriage to Douglas William York Oct. 27, 2021, in Waynesville.
Cindy was preceded in death by daughters, Shana Hollandsworth and an infant daughter; and brother, Donnie Marshall.
She is survived by husband, Doug, of Dixon; children, Samantha Burress and husband Robert of Gaston S.C.; Amanda Rule and husband Daniel of Dixon; Jon Veach of Callaway, Md.; Jodi Hollandsworth and husband Michael of Jackson and Jason Veach of Tumwater, Wash.; siblings, Ron Marshall and wife Mary Ellen of Rolla and Wendy Conklin and husband Blake of Camdenton; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
A celebration of life was held June 3, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Dixon.
