Debra “Debbie” Ann Holterman, 71, Freeburg, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born on Oct. 17, 1954, to the late Donald E. and Dee O. (Hassel) Wegescheide in St. Louis.
She was a 1973 graduate of Ritenour High School in St. Louis.
Debra was united in marriage to Roger Holterman on Sept. 3, 1988. Together they shared 32 wonderful years of marriage before his passing.
She dedicated many years of service as a bank teller with Jefferson Bank until her retirement.
Above all else, she treasured spending time with her family. Family gatherings brought her great joy, and she was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Debbie was preceded in death by beloved husband, Roger; parents, Donald and Dee; and sisters, Karen Wegescheide and Mary Beth Wegescheide.
She is survived by daughter, Chrissy Reichel and husband, Travis; grandchildren, Nathan Reichel and wife, Emma, Brandon and Sam Reichel, Gavin, Bennie and Waylon Holterman; great-grandson, Colton Reichel; step-son, Lucas Holterman; siblings, Alva Roberts, Joseph Wegescheide and wife Lisa, and Catherine West and husband, Gerry; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation and Prayer Service was held on Monday Aug. 3, at Hilke-Millard Funeral Home in Westphalia, with Deacon Jim Haaf officiating. Interment was in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
