I would like to take just a moment to voice my dissatisfaction of the job done by the Linn Street Department after the Water Department repaired the water leak in front of my residence on Jefferson Street.
The Street Department did an absolutely horrible job in completing the repair of the street. To begin with, the concrete dried out and cracked before the sun went down. That is because it was far too hot during the day to pour concrete.
Furthermore, the concrete that was poured is uneven and just looks terrible. On one half of the street a 2”x 4” board was used to even out the concrete. The same action was not performed on the other half of the street.
The job was done by amateurs, not professionals.
