Donnell Edward Loughridge, 82, Bland, passed away Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024, at his home.
He was born March 3, 1941, the son of George and Ruby (Pearon) Loughridge in rural Belle.
Don was united in marriage to Sally Campbell Dec. 22, 1962.
He worked for Buck Ridenhour Charcoal, International Harvester in Owensville and finally the Loughridge Upholstery.
Don was preceded in death by parents, George and Ruby; brother, Robert J. Loughridge; sisters, Eleanor Ann Murray of Conway, Texas, Kathleen Rhodes of Belle and Bonnie Waller of Holts Summit; and great-grandson, Colter B. Loughridge of Cooper Hill.
He is survived by wife, Sally of Bland; daughter, Rebecca Winkelmann and husband Larry of Hermann; sons, Bruce Loughridge and wife Dana, George Loughridge and wife Brenda and Joseph Loughridge and wife Mandi, all of Bland; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous sisters and brothers-in-law.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m., (today) Wednesday, Jan. 10, and from 10 until 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan.11, all in the Crossroads Baptist Church in Bland with his funeral service following at 11 a.m., with Bro. Dennis Spurgeon officiating.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery in Bland.
