Ex-President Trump is having great difficulty as the truth about many things are coming home to roost. After a lifetime of outright lies and bullying, he is responding in a typical Trump fashion, doubling down on his lies, and attacking the truth tellers. Consider the case of Alvin Bragg, the DA of Manhattan. Ex-President Trump has issued implied threats of physical violence not only against Mr. Bragg, but also his family. Mr. Bragg is not the first public official to receive such threats. If that was not enough, Ex-President Trump has called for defunding the FBI and Justice Department. Ex-President has certainly outdone any calls to “Defund the Police.”
This TPS should not be confused with Ex-President Trumps Temper Tantrum Syndrome, associated with the former, but distinctly different.
There seems to be constant criticism of the alleged “Weaponization of the government” from right wing “news” sources. Surely, we all remember Ex-President Trump’s demand that President Joe Biden be arrested before the 2019 presidential election. He never did specify what charges should be leveled against Mr. Biden, he just demanded that his AG do it.
Ex-President Trump has also called for the “Termination of the Constitution” which he swore to uphold and defend If re-elected he would take the same oath, “So help me God.”
Ex-President Trump is entitled to the same presumption of innocence that everyone of us is entitled to. His arrest is not a reason for him to NOT be a viable candidate for a POUS re-election.
In truth, this latest action is consistent with what Senator Mitch McConnell stated after voting not to impeach Ex-President Trump. Senator McConnell stated that “Donald Trump has not gotten away with anything, YET”. He further stated that there was a DOJ to pursue any wrong doings.
The Manhattan case is certainly not the only investigation that is causing Ex-President Trump great concern. There is Fani Willis, the DA of Atlanta, who has on tape Trumps “perfect” phone call to GA Secretary of State Greenberger, legally taped. And Special Counsel Jack Smith seems to be moving with renewed vigor, with Mike Pence agreeing to testify. Ex-President Trump does not want Ex-VP Pence to testify, which makes me wonder “Why is Ex-President Trump so opposed of Mr. Smith finding out the truth”?
There is also NY AG Letitia James, who already has had Ex-President Trump testify where he took the fifth 400 times. Hillary Clinton never took the fifth once. I will note that in the race for lawyers, Ex-President Trump is winning by a country mile. He has had more lawyers than Hillary Clinton, Ex-President Obama, and President joe Biden combined.
