In last Tuesday’s game at Mexico, the Lady Comets fell to the Lady Bulldogs, 5-0.
“This was a tough loss for us, but it’s part of the process,” said Coach Kelley-Marie Wibberg. “The girls showed grit and kept competing until the final whistle. We’ll learn from this, get back to work. We look forward to our home opener to show our local fans all the hard work these girls have been putting in each week.”
Caroline Neubert posted 21 saves, and Maura Falter added 11 more.
Fatima was slated to play at Christian Fellowship at home on Tuesday this week, and will travel to Smithton on Thursday before enjoying a three-day break to rest, recover, and refocus before hitting the road to take on Dixon.
