Fatima’s JV golf team earned third place at Centralia last week as Carson Fick earned first place individually with a 77, and Noah Wilbers finished sixth (84) in the 18-hole event.
“Of course, we were hoping to finish higher, but this was a good outing for our younger golfers,” said Coach Scott Kilgore. “Carson had an outstanding day; he was very dialed all day long. Even some of his mishits with irons would bounce in the right directions. This was just his day.”
Nate Jaegers shot an 87 for 11th place, followed by Trevor Crowe (14, 88), Toren Orscheln (17, 89), Cole Jaegers (19, 90), Hank Stuckenschneider (22, 94), Ryan Jansen (25, 97), Ben Reinsch (27, 101), and Dylan Crowe (28, 105).
“We are super pleased to see these low numbers from our young guys,” said Kilgore. “It was another strong round by the freshmen. We hope to see this type of play continue into our next several matches.”
