LINN — Osage County deputies arrested Derek C. Holtmeyer, 35, of Linn, following a traffic stop on Hwy. 50 near the Voss Trailer Court Loop.
Holtmeyer’s vehicle was stopped for displaying plates belonging to a different car and failing to signal a turn from Rt. CC onto Hwy. 50.
During the stop, deputies conducted a consent search of Holtmeyer and found and seized hypodermic syringes and a baggie containing approximately 3.7 grams of a white crystal substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
Holtmeyer later admitted to possessing a meth pipe, which was located in the center console, and the deputy conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle.
Holtmeyer was booked at the Osage County Detention Center and released on a $5,000.00 bond.
