James Junior Sheppard, 83, passed away on July 15, 2026 at his home in Linn.
He was born on Oct. 1, 1942, to the late Stacie and Ada Sheppard in Kingsport, Tenn.
He graduated high school at Ritenour high.
James worked in the St Louis area as a meat cutter.
He enjoyed spending time with his family as well as traveling, hunting, fishing and passing on that knowledge to his family.
James was preceded in death by wife Elaine; and parents, Stacie and Ada.
He is survived by children, James, John, Jill, Neal; one estranged daughter; and brother Harry.
Memorial services will be announced when weather is more agreeable.
