Laura M. Gaume, 71, Linn, passed away Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
She was born Oct. 23, 1954, to the late Charles Joseph and Lavonia Henrietta (Stiefermann) Stephens in Los Angeles, Calif.
She was a 1973 graduate of Fatima High School.
Laura was united in marriage to Floyd E. Gaume May 18, 1991.
She was employed at Westinghouse/ABB until she became disabled in 1981.
Laura was an avid fisherman.
She was preceded in death by husband of 33 years, Floyd; and parents, Charles and Lavonia.
Laura is survived by brothers, Bill Stephens and wife Cindy of Jefferson City and James Brosius; sister, Judy Condon and husband Bob of Rapid City, S.D.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9 until 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 21, followed by the funeral service at Morton Chapel in Linn with Rev. Alan Bailey officiating.Interment will follow in Shirley Mint Hill Cemetery near Chamois.
