Leroy Wiegers, 86, Belle, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Capitol Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
He was born on Dec. 9, 1939, to the late Martin and Margaret (Hertzing) Wiegers in Jefferson City.
He attended Koenig School in rural Osage County.
Leroy was a lifelong farmer, and was employed at Quaker Windows in Freeburg.
He was preceded in death by parents, Martin and Margaret; grandson, Brent Massman; sister, Elizabeth Sestak and husband Paul; sons-in-law, Kyle Goldner and Jeff Meyer; ex-wife, mother of his children and lifelong friend, Millie Hopkins; and dogs, Dray and Fritz.
Leroy is survived by daughters, Maranda Massman and husband Dale of Argyle, Melinda Meyer of Jefferson City and Machell “Shelly” Goldner of Eugene; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Aug. 3, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain, with Rev. William Debo officiating. Interment was in Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery.
