Lynn Thuli, 70, Chamois, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She was born July 18, 1955, to the late Charles and Lorraine (Hofstetter) Gilbert, in Cherry Point, N.C.
She was a 1973 graduate of Chamois High School.
Lynn was united in marriage to David Thuli April 9, 1977, at First Baptist Church in Chamois.
She was employed at Elsevier in Linn until her retirement in 2009.
Lynn was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Lorraine; and brother, David Gilbert.
She is survived by husband, David; children, Mandy Mitchem, Gina Thompson and husband Shane and David “Doogie” Thuli, all of Chamois and Amy Mitchem and husband James of Jefferson City; six grandchildren; brothers, Frank and Charles Gilbert, II, both of Chamois; sisters, Lorraine Wright and husband Jim of Chamois, Wendy Wolfe and husband Rodney of Linn, Jenny Gilbert of Arnold and Holly Robinson and husband Tony of Jefferson City.
The funeral service was held Oct. 14, at Morton Chapel in Chamois with Jeremiah Abell officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Ferguson Cemetery near Chamois.
