Mary Lou Ripka, 90, Meta, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.
She was born on July 23, 1935, daughter of the late Paul and Daisey (Eckhardt) West in Meta.
She was united in marriage to Marshall Bobby Ripka on May 18, 1952, in Eldon.
Mary Lou had a strong Christian faith, which guided her throughout her life. She was a devoted member of Campground Christian Church and a past member of Tuscumbia Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by husband, Marshall; parents, Paul and Daisey; beloved canine companions, Trudy and Samantha; and a host of family and friends who loved her dearly.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 27, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Bob Hamm officiating. Interment was held in Southside Cemetery in Meta.
