Millie M. Ruegge, 86, Morrison, passed away Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, at StoneBridge Senior Living in Owensville.
She was born March 1, 1939, the daughter of the late Harry E. and Selma C. (Niewald) Hilkerbaumer in Hope.
She was united in marriage to Benjamin O. Ruegge on Aug. 17, 1957, at Salem Hope Presbyterian Church in Morrison.
Mille worked at Frene Valley Nursing Home for over 25 years.
She was preceded in death by husband, Benjamin; and parents, Harry and Selma.
Millie is survived by daughter, Linda Koelling and husband Dennis of Morrison; son, Nelson Ruegge and wife Brandy of Morrison; brother, Rev. Don Hilkerbaumer and wife Rev. Janice of Hilliard, Ohio; two grandsons; nephew, Rev. Jason Hilkerbaumer and wife Misty of Morrison; niece, Rev. Beth Hilkerbaumer of Portsmouth,Va.; one great-nephew, one great-niece; and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 10, at Salem Hope Presbyterian Church in Morrison, with Rev. Jason and Rev. Beth Hilkerbaumer officiating.
Interment was in the Fredericksburg Cemetery in Morrison.
Memorial contributions suggested to Salem Hope Presbyterian Church or Fredericksburg Cemetery.
