Mitchell Thomas Farris, 62, Linn, passed away Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 18, 1962, to the late William and Clara (Rademan) Farris in Jefferson City.
He was a 1981 graduate of California High School. Mitchell served his country in the U.S. Army.
He worked as a chef at various restaurants.
Mitchell was preceded in death by parents, William and Clara; and sister, Mary Anderson.
He is survived by brothers, Dave Farris and wife Brandi, Nick Farris and wife Janet and Daniel Farris, all of Jefferson City, Greg Farris of St. Martins, Don Farris and wife Brenda of Russellville, Mark Farris of California and Dennis Farris of Holts Summit; and sister, Tammy Inman of Centertown.
Graveside services with Full Military Honors will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.
