Mr. and Mrs. Richard Welschmeyer, Freeburg, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with a Mass of Thanksgiving. A trip and family dinner will be at a later time.
Richard Welschmeyer and Lucille Hoelscher were married Aug. 29, 1964, at St. Margaret Antioch Catholic Church, Osage Bend. The late Michael Schaller officiated. They were attended by Dorothy Veit, Jefferson City; Catherine Bruemmer (Deceased), Jefferson City; Esther Klebba (Deceased), Jefferson City; Janice Plemmons, Freeburg; Jerome Welschmeyer, Dixon; Leroy Welschmeyer (Deceased), Freeburg; Irvin Hoelscher, Osage Bend; and Don Bruemmer, Jefferson City.
Mr. and Mrs. Welschmeyer have two daughters; Linda and husband Eric Johnson, Visilia, Calif. and Ann and husband Aaron Pondrom, St. Robert. They also have eight grandchildren, Sevee, Rhett, Cort and Sophia Johnson and Isabella and Carter Pondrom and deceased infants, Isaac Pondrom and Jax Johnson.
