Norma Joan Mosher, St. James, passed away on Sept. 4, 2026, at Boone Hospital in Columbia.
She was born on Sept. 15, 1937, to the late George and Viola Lange in Belle.
She had owned and operated a dairy farm in High Gate, later worked at the Weber Dress Factory in St. James, and had a custom drapery and upholstery business. Norma also worked as the head cook at the Missouri Veterans Home.
Joan was preceded in death by husband, Louis; parents, George and Viola; son, Timothy Mosher; daughter, Jill Mosher; and brothers, Jerry, Phillip, Gary and Charles “Buck” Lange.
She is survived by daughter, Robyn Wheeler and husband Wayne; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and sister,Tyke and husband Glen of Redbird.
Funeral services were held on Sept. 12, at St. John Lutheran Church. Interment was in High Gate Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorial contributions suggested to the Thompson Center in Columbia, High Gate Baptist Church Cemetery or St. John Lutheran Church.
