Raymond A. Ruettgers, 57, Loose Creek, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023.
He was born Oct. 31, 1965, to Harry and Anna Marie (Werner) Ruettgers in Jefferson City.
He graduated from Fatima High School in 1985.
Ray was a skilled carpenter, plumber, mechanic, and all-around handy man. He was a shy, quiet man with a big heart, though he didn’t often show it. Those of us who knew him best loved him dearly and will miss him terribly.
Ray was preceded in death by mother, Anna Marie; grandparents, Louis and Sybilla Ruettgers and August and Caroline Werner; aunt, Mae Boyd; uncles, Robert Werner and Peter Radmacher; and cousin, Nolan Schroeder.
He is survived by father, Harry; siblings, Gene Ruettgers and friend Mel, Paul Ruettgers and wife Dottie, Dave Ruettgers and wife Ann, Jerry Ruettgers and wife Lisa, Ed Ruettgers and wife Tammy, Mary Luebbert and husband Dave, Rose Kowieski and husband Chuck and Jim Ruettgers and wife Julie; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A private family service will be held.
Memorial contributions suggested to Immaculate Conception Parish or the I.C. Parish Cemetery fund.
