Chamois runners turned in their best times of the season at the Belle Invitational, led by Carly Schollmeyer’s 15th-place medal.
Schollmeyer finished in 24:38.40 for 15th place, while Emma Mehmert placed 23rd in 26:12.70.
“Carly and Emma ran their best time of the year and did a great job,” said Coach John Leach. “Carly ran her fastest time of her high school career so far.”
Grayson Gerloff led the Chamois boys with a 21st-place finish in 20:24.80, also recording his fastest time of the season. “Grayson ran his best time of the year but came up one spot short of a medal,” said Leach. “I’m very proud of the effort of them all.”
