Dear Editor:
I would like to thank Mayor Dwight Massey and the Water Department for the work they did restoring water to my residence after a leak was detected under Jefferson Street in front of my residence.
The team worked under difficult conditions as we had thunderstorms passing through the area. At 1:30 a.m. the team finally secured and went home but not before I had water restored.
My hat is off to Mayor Massey who was right there with the Water Department employees getting wet and dirty and standing in knee deep water.
Gentlemen, thank you. This kind of performance makes me proud to call Linn my home.
