Osage County Clerk Nicci Kammerich announced last week that only two races in the August 2022 primary election are contested.
Incumbent County Assessor Tina Kammerich will face a primary challenge from Gary Storey. Incumbent Presiding Commissioner Darryl Griffin will face off against John Glavin. Glavin was defeated running for reelection as Eastern District Commissioner in 2020.
Seven of the county offices up for election in 2022 drew only one candidate each, and all will run without opposition in both the primary and general elections. They are Sonya Brandt, Associate Circuit Clerk Judge; Circuit Clerk, Beth Billington; Collector, Denise Nolte; County Clerk, Nicci Kammerich; Prosecuting Attorney, Amanda Grellner; Recorder, Cindy Hoffman; and Treasurer, Valerie Prater. All but Prater are incumbents.
