Vonda Cordelia (Gerloff) Iven, 62, Linn, passed away on Tuesday, Aug.11, 2026.
She was born on June 23, 1964, to the late Dorsia and June (Reeves) Gerloff in Jefferson City.
She found joy in the simple things that made life special. Music was a meaningful part of her life, and she especially enjoyed listening to Janis Joplin and Elvis.
Vonda loved spending time at the creek, making memories with her sisters, and most of all, being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Her family was at the heart of her world and the time she spent with them was among her greatest treasures.
She also had a special love for dogs. Her four-legged companions were more than pets, they were cherished members of her family and brought her comfort, companionship and happiness.
Those who knew Vonda will remember her for the memories she created, the moments shared together, and the love she gave so freely. Her presence will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by parents, Dorsia and June; daughter, Molly Iven; brother, Dean Gerloff; sister-in-law, Marion Gerloff; and former husband and father of her daughters, Shannon Helming.
Vonda is survived by husband, Mark; son, Curtis Iven; daughters, Nicole and Megan Helming; sisters, Yvonne Foulds and Sherry Inman and husband Tom; grandchildren, Ethan Russell, Austin Deatsch and Thierry and Sampson Helming; as well as nine nephews and five nieces.
Friends and family will be received from 4 to 6 p.m., (today) Wednesday, Aug. 19, followed by a Memorial Service at Millard Family Chapels in Chamois.
Arrangements entrusted to Millard Family Chapels in Chamois.
