Voter fraud. For decades, Democrats have been telling Americans that there is no such thing as voter fraud. And, if there is, it is too small to make any difference.
If that is the case, why does the party of Franklin D. Roosevelt stop attempts to investigate or legislate voter fraud at every turn?
Seems like a contradiction.
According to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin, in a September Fox News report, they currently have 300,000 cases of suspected voter fraud, with 1,620 under investigation and 151 arrests.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) said Analiea Milliscent Eccles, a Venezuelan national and DACA recipient living in George, voted nine times between 2008 and 2024.
When I asked AI for the number of individuals charged with voter fraud under the Biden Administration, it answered 13, with nine found guilty.
In July, Mullins sent a letter to California that flagged close to 200,000 voters as suspected non-citizens. Of that number, Bill Essayli, the first assistant U.S. attorney for California’s Central District, said federal investigators have evidence that 20,000 on the state’s voter rolls are “likely non-citizens.”
California’s lax voter registration, which automatically registers anyone to vote who applies for a driver’s license, is one reason for the DOJ’s suspicions. In the Golden Bear State, you don’t have to be a citizen to obtain a driver’s license.
California is pushing back against these allegations.
Cheating in elections is nothing new for Democrats. One of the earliest known cases was Tammany Hall, founded in New York City in 1786. Synonymous with the New York County Democratic Party, the Tammany Hall organization was notorious for stuffing ballot boxes, repeat voters, casting ballots of dead people, bribery, intimidation, ballot harvesting and importing voters from outside the area.
An audit of a 1868 New York City election found that 16 percent of the ballots were fraudulent.
Anyone who studies history is aware that allegations of election fraud marred Lyndon B. Johnson’s victory in the 1948 state senate race. Known as the Box 13 scandal, six days after the election, 202 votes were mysteriously added to the totals for Box 13: 200 for Johnson and only two for Stevenson. This gave Johnson an 87-vote lead and opened the door to his presidency.
A federal district court in Texas conducted an investigation. U.S. Supreme Court Justice Hugo Black stepped in and barred the court from finishing its investigation.
In 1977, former Texas voting official Luis Salas admitted to certifying fictitious ballots that gave the election to Johnson.
Curiously, last week, a Biden-appointed federal judge in California ruled that the DHS must stop some investigations into suspected illegal voting. U.S. District Judge Araceli Martinez-Olguin said these investigations could intimidate voters.
I’m sure she is right: Voter intimidation for non-citizens.
Another jurist in California, Judge David O. Carter, as of Sunday, has ignored the DOJ’s request for a Temporary Retraining Order to hold ballots of suspected non-citizens until they can be proven one way or the other. The DOJ wants suspected ballots put on hold because, after they are counted, there is no paper trail from the voter.
Let’s continue. In a 1994 Pennsylvania State Senate election, the Republican candidate led by 500 votes after election day. The absentee ballots went overwhelmingly to the Democrat. The election was later invalidated by Judge Clarence C. Newcomer of the Federal District Court.
Judge Newcomer wrote, “Substantial evidence was presented establishing massive absentee ballot fraud, deception, intimidation, harassment and forgery.”
This also occurred in 2003 in the East Chicago, Indiana mayor’s race. The Indiana Supreme Court overturned the election results and ordered a special election, which resulted in a different winner.
A 1982 Illinois election resulted in 62 indictments and 58 convictions for election fraud. In Chicago, a grand jury found 100,000 fraudulent votes had been cast.
Earlier this year, we observed a repeat of probable election fraud when Spencer Pratt, candidate for Los Angeles Mayor, lost his lead on election day after five days of ballot counting.
This is a history of Democrats stealing elections throughout the United States over the last 150 years.
