When Will It All End?

The sad fact after an unprecedented attack upon our government 06 January, 2023, we have a long way to go to get to the truth.  If Ex-President Trump was truly innocent as he claims, he would want to expedite all proceedings to prove his innocence and avoid “Reputational harm” in his own words.  Mr. Trump is going the opposite way, delay, delay, delay.  His is trying to use us Presidential run as an excuse of why he cannot be tried before the election.

I believe that all of us, regardless of party, have a right to the truth before the election.  Ex-President Trump is certainly the first President to have difficulty hiring and retaining good lawyers.  He has been turned down by reputable law firms that have in the past, accepted cases free of charge, because doing such makes your firm even more prestigious.  In fact, it is just the opposite with Ex-President Trump.

I again will state that I believe in the presumption of innocence as it is part of a “Law and order” society, and the “Rule of Law.”  I will state that based upon 2018 data, the chances of winning and indictment brought by the Department of Justice is 0.04 percent.

Ex President Trumps claims of ending the Ukraine was are farcical on it’s face.  I am reminded of his 2015 claim that “I will defeat ISIS in 30 days.  Certainly, being an expressed admirer of Vladimir Putin, he could almost certainly withhold funding for Ukraine.  He has done it before, and his “Perfect” phone call to Volodymyr Zelenskyy resulted in his impeachment.

I am continually amazed how Donald Trumps own words turn out to be perhaps the best testimony against.  There are the self-described “Perfect” phone calls to Mr. Zelenskyy and Brad Raffensperger, the GA Secretary of State, and a Trump supporter.  The phone call to Fani Willis is almost certainly going to result in his indictment.  Just last weekend he is by implication threatening violence if the DOJ should move forward.  This has the makings of fascism,

As far as the claims of the “Weaponization of the government”, that is exactly what Ex-President Trump is planning if he should return to the White Hose.  Based upon well sourced NY Times articles, Ex-President Trump is planning on “Overhauling” virtually every branch of the government, eliminating checks and balances, and using his illegal powers for personal retribution and enrichment.  And he doubtlessly will try to pardon himself, and almost certainly go after Jack Smith, among others.
