Wilfred Henry Linnenbrink, 66, Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 4, 1957, to the late Herbert and Helen (Kirsch) Linnenbrink in Bonnots Mill.

He was a 1976 graduate of Fatima High School. After graduation he moved to Jefferson City.

Wilfred worked as a coil winder for ABB which is now Hitachi in Jefferson City before retiring in January of 2023.

He was of the Catholic faith and a member of UAW Local # 2379, the Sportsman Club and was an avid supporter of the NRA.

Wilfred enjoyed fishing, watching the Kansas City Chiefs and St Louis Cardinals, tinkering with things in his garage, eating fried chicken, drinking Pepsi and collecting sports cards and coins. His greatest love was time spent with his family.

Wilfred was preceded in death by parents, Herbert and Helen; brother, William “Billy” Linnenbrink; and brother-in-law James “Jim” Walker.

He is survived by sons, Kyle Linnenbrink and friend Brittany Voss and Kole Linnenbrink, both of Jefferson City; daughter, Kayla Linnenbrink and friend Curtis Goben of Jefferson City; sisters, Martha Haslag and husband Dennis of Linn, Margaret Walker of Chamois and Susan Kremer and husband Sam of Bonnots Mill; grandchildren, Chase and Reagan Linnenbrink; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., (today) Wednesday, Jan. 17, followed by the funeral service at Morton Chapel in Linn with Fr. Tony Rinaldo officiating.

Interment will be in the St Louis of France Parish Cemetery.
