Agnes Louise Voss, 88, Columbia, formerly of Linn, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023, at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.
She was born June 29, 1935, to the late Lewis and Josephine (Berhorst) Klebba in Rich Fountain.
She was united in marriage to Wilbert John Voss May 23, 1953, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn.
Agnes was a homemaker and a member of St George Catholic Church in Linn, St Ann’s Sodality and VFW Post 4756 Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed embroidery, gardening, baking, cooking and doing word search puzzles as well as being an avid reader and playing card games.
Agnes was preceded in death by spouse of 60 years, Wilbert; parents, Lewis and Josephine; daughter, Gwen Voss; brothers, Louis “Jr.” Klebba, Eugene “Bert” Klebba and Harold “Bud” Klebba; and sister, Janet Nichols.
She is survived by son, Gordon Voss and wife Leila of Rogersville; daughters, Gale Zitnik and husband Dave of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Gay Guffey of Columbia; grandchildren, Daniel and Matthew Zitnik, Jeremy Voss, Joshua Guffey and wife Megan, Jasmine Jones and William and Trystin Voss; great-grandchildren, Peyton, River and Hunter Guffey and Ava and Louis Voss; sisters, Marie Morfeld of Linn and Lillian Cassmeyer of Westphalia; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 6 p.m., (today) Wednesday, July 19, at Morton Chapel in Linn. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 20, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with Fr. Anthony Rinaldo officiating. Interment will be in St. George Parish Cemetery in Linn.
