Arline Anna Mueller, 90, Babbtown, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She was born March 10, 1933, to the late Alfred and Elise Katherine (Groene) Harfst in Babbtown.
She was united in marriage to Adolph Carl Mueller Sept. 5, 1954.
Arline was a devoted member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Babbtown where she performed as the organist for 74 years. She was an active member of the community serving as a board member at Heisinger Lutheran Home and was a member of the Argyle VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and the Meta Quilt Club. Arline had a talent for baking and made countless wedding cakes and specialty cakes throughout the years.
She was preceded in death by husband, Adolph; parents, Alfred and Elise and brothers, Lloyd and Roland Harfst.
Arline is survived by sons, Alvin Mueller and wife Gretta, Arnold Mueller and wife Theresa and Arthur Mueller and wife Donna; grandchildren, Adrienne Fick and spouse Casey, Carla Nilges and husband Craig, Carissa Thompson and husband Christopher, Ethan Mueller and wife Tabitha and Elise Mueller; great-grandchildren, Grayson, Hayden, Alex, Blakeley, Declan and Everlynn; siblings, Gene, Robert and Alice Harfst; sisters-in-law, Betty Hoecker and Elda Bruning; and numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 (noon), Monday, July 31, with funeral services immediately following at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Schubert with Pastor Gerald Scheperle officiating. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Babbtown.
