Carol A. Keilholz, 80, Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 26, 1941, to the late Benjamin and Myrtle (Nichols) Buscher in Linn.

She was united in marriage to Raymond Keilholz Jan. 6, 1962, at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Chamois.

Carol attended Osage R-1 school in Chamois. She was employed at Florsheim Shoe Factory in Hermann and Jefferson City. Carol was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Chamois.

She enjoyed gardening, painting, cooking and baking, along with finding a good deal at any local flea market.

Carol was preceded in death by parents, Benjamin and Myrtle; two grandchildren; sister, Margie Zastrow; and brother, Eddie Buscher.

She is survived by spouse of 59 years, Raymond; children, Connie Camp and husband Brint of Richmond, Ky., Loretta Miller and husband Randy of Linn, Paul Keilholz of Linn, Joyce Schofield and husband Anthony of Jefferson City and Lola Cane and husband Scott of Ocean Springs, Miss.; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren;one great-great-grandchild; brother, Walter Buscher and wife Donna of St. Louis; sister, Paula Wilson and husband Robert of Linn; brother-in-law, Albert Zastrow of Hermann; sister-in-law, Alverta Buscher of Chamois; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., (today) Wednesday, July 7, at Morton Chapel in Chamois. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 8, at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Chamois with Fr. David Means officiating. Interment will be in the Most Pure Heart of Mary Parish Cemetery.
