Diana Jean (Heil) Mittelhauser, 72, Linn, passed away Sunday, Dec. 10, 2023, at her residence.
She was born July 14, 1951, to the late John Paul and Laverne Marie (Wohldmann) Heil in St. Louis.
She was a 1969 graduate of Mercy High School in St. Louis.
Diana was employed as a secretary for State Technical College in Linn for many years. After retirement, she helped in the St. George Catholic School office.
Diana was a devoted member of St. George Catholic Church in Linn.
She enjoyed crocheting, “Spooky movies”, going to her grandchildren’s sporting events and watching nature. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.
Diana is survived by daughter, Amanda Seifert and husband Matt of Linn; grandchildren, Lucas and Stella Seifert; brothers, Rev. John “Jack” Heil of Washington D.C., and Michael Heil and wife Vickie of Lake St. Louis; sisters, Denise “Tinner” Allison and husband Perry of Edwardsville, Ill. and Donna “Nina” Kary and husband Gary of Robertsville; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9 until 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 15, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m., with Fr. Colin Franklin officiating. Interment will be in the St. George Parish Cemetery.
