Donald J. Lock passed away, Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023, in Camdenton.
He was born the son of the late Edgar and Polly Lock in St.Louis.
He moved to Bonnots Mill when his father went into business in Osage County.
Don attended St Louis Parochial school and graduated from Fatima High School, Lincoln University and later received his law degree from MU Law School.
He served his country in the U.S. Army.
Don was united in marriage to Patricia Bauer July 14, 1962 at St. Peter’s Church. She preceded him in death Oct. 20, 1967.
He was employed with banks in both St. Joseph and Kansas City.
After being united in marriage to Loretta Wicks in February of 1977, he opened his own law office in Gladstone where he practiced bankruptcy, family law and estate planning for over 40 years.
He was preceded in death by wife Loretta Lock; first wife, Patricia Bauer Lock; parents Edgar and Polly; and brother, Eugene Lock.
Don is survived by step-children, Robert Wicks and wife Debbie of Billings, Mont., Fritz Wicks and wife Kristie of Tampa Fla. and Kristi and Bryan Timmermeyer of Kansas City; five grandchildren; brother, Carl Lock of Lake of the Ozarks; and sister, Sandra Marie Ardin and husband Mark of Lake Elsinore, Calif.
A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family at the Lake of the Ozarks.
