Doris Jo Lauberth-Kempker, 60, Westphalia, went to meet the Lord Friday, March 17, 2023 at her home.
She was born March 29, 1962, the youngest of seven children born to Jerome George and Esther Agnes (Fick) Lauberth.
She was united in marriage to Thomas Lee Kempker June 14, 1980 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Freeburg.
Doris was a 1980 graduate of Fatima High School.
She was a long-time employee of Quaker Window in Freeburg.
Doris very much enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time on their pontoon boat on Truman Lake as well as the Osage River. She loved their dogs and enjoyed the companionship of their pets over the years.
Doris was preceded in death by husband, Tom; father, Jerome; and in-laws, Herbert and Helen Kempker.
As the youngest of seven children, she enjoyed a special and unique relationship with each of her six siblings. Doris is survived by mother, Esther Lauberth of Westphalia; sisters, Donna Otto and husband Dick of Columbia and Jeannie Kampeter and husband Jim of Argyle; brothers, Jerry Lauberth of Bonnots Mill, Neil Lauberth and wife Darlene of Rich Fountain, Leon Lauberth and wife Sue of Westphalia and David Lauberth and wife Patty of Freeburg; brother-in-law, Bill Kempker and wife Peggy of Chamois; sister-in-law, Connie Brandt and husband John; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, who will miss their Aunt Doris greatly.
Visitation will be held from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 4, at Hilke-Millard Funeral Home in Westphalia.
Memorial contributions suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
