Floyd Clinton McKinney, 96, Belle, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023, at his home surrounded by family.
He was born Nov. 22, 1926, to the late Everette and Susie (Cox) McKinney in Maries county.
He was united in marriage to Ruth Alma Green July 16, 1949.
Floyd proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1945 until 1947.
He was employed with Gray Brothers, owned and operated the first Shell station in Belle and worked at Ford Motor Company in St. Louis for 22 years.
Floyd was preceded in death by parents, Everette and Susie; siblings, Carl, Paul, Bernie, Eugene, John, Jack, Thelma, Viola and Helen; and granddaughter, Kara Dahn Loughridge.
He is survived by wife, Ruth; daughters, Joyce Griffith and Linda Piel and husband Larry, all of Belle; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., (today) Wednesday, July 12, at with full military honors.
