Gregory Lawrence Hagner, 73, Owensville and formerly of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Mercy Hospital St Louis.
He was born Oct. 2, 1949, to the late Harvey H. and Gladys M. (Wekenborg) Hagner in Jefferson City.
He attended school in Jefferson City and was a 1967 graduate of Jefferson City High School.
Gregory was employed with his dad’s construction company for most of his working career. He later worked for Hobby Lobby.
Gregory was preceded in death by parents, Harvey and Gladys; brothers, Donald Gary Hagner and Bernard Leon Hagner; and sister, Joan Kay Herx.
He is survived by children, Gregory Hagner and wife Heather of Jefferson City and Shawn Hagner and wife Kelli of Kansas City; grandchildren, Grant, Blake, Grace and Jack; sisters, Shirley Jean Wibberg and husband Lawrence and Mary Jane Quinn, all of Jefferson City; and nieces, nephews and many friends that he met when he resided at Gasconade Manor in Owensville.
Private family burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Jefferson City.
