Harold Warren Patterson, 80, Vienna, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023, at his residence near Vienna, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Nov. 14, 1942, in Topeka, Kan., and in July of 1948 he was adopted by the late John William and Leona Viola (Tucker) Patterson.
He was united in marriage to Katherine Alene Hollis Sept. 10, 1961, in Meta.
Harold was a graduate of Vienna High School and later served his country in the U. S. Army National Guard.
Harold was preceded in death by parents, John and Leona; daughter, Beverly Louise (Patterson) Honse; and sisters, Patricia Thomas, Mary Doty, Jeanne Armstrong and Roxy Thomas.
He is survived by wife, Katherine of Vienna; sons, Lindell Patterson of Meta and Kevin Patterson of Ankeny, Iowa; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Odette Hugues of Ft. Worth, Texas and Nancy Higgins of Kansas City; and brother, Gene Proctor of Branson.
Funeral service is at 10 a.m., (today) June 28, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Vienna with Rev. Duncan Skiles, Bro. Larry Neal and Bro. Freddie Earp officiating.
Interment will be in the Vienna Public Cemetery.
