James R. Bonnot, 65, Rolla, formerly of Chamois, passed away Monday, Aug. 7, 2023, at Silverstone Nursing Home in Rolla.
He was born March 31, 1958, to Donald and Phyllis (Sallin) Bonnot in Fort Monroe, Va.
He was a 1976 graduate of Fatima High School.
James was employed with his father at Clearwater Drilling, Modine Manufacturing in Jefferson City, Smiley Restaurant in Chamois and was also a logger.
He is survived by father and stepmother, Don and Donna of Frankenstein; daughters, Amber Bonnot of Westphalia and Annabelle Bonnot of Freeburg; one grandson; brother, Gary Bonnot of Frankenstein; sisters, Cheryl Jaegers of Westphalia, Lana Masters of California and Tammi Schulte and husband David of Frankenstein
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, Aug.18, at Morton Chapel in Linn.
Memorial contributions suggested to his grandson Joseph’s educational fund.
