James S. Reichart, 81, Westphalia, passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2022.
He was born Aug. 16, 1941, to the late Joseph B. and Hedwig C. (Lueckenhoff) Reichart in Osage County.
He was a 1959 graduate of Helias High School. After graduation James joined the U. S. Air Force and served his country until 1963.
James was employed as a heavy equipment operator and an over-the-road truck driver.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Karen Reichart, Susan Reichart and Rose Huber; and brother, Joseph Reichart Jr.
James is survived by sisters, Constance M. and Barbara T. Reichart; and brother, Francis “Frank” Reichart.
Visitation will be held from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m., (today) Wednesday, Nov. 30, at Hilke-Millard Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia with Fr. Dylan Schrader officiating.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery with full military honors.
Memorial contributions suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
