Joan Mary Allen, 83, Argyle, passed away Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, in the Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She was born March 5, 1940, to the late Joseph and Marquerite M. (Mulroy) Kutrip Jr., in St. Louis.
She was united in marriage to Fredrick Donald Allen June 5, 1959, in Jennings.
Joan worked as the school secretary for the Maries R-1 School in Vienna.
She was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Marquerite; daughter, Robin Marston; and brothers, Thomas Kutrip and John “Jack” Kutrip.
Joan is survived by husband, Donnie of Vienna; son, Kevin Allen and wife Rhonda of Freeburg; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and twin brother, Joseph “Joe” Kutrip, III of St. Louis.
Funeral service was held March 2, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Vienna, with Rev. Basil Tigga officiating.
Interment was in Vienna Public Cemetery.
