Julia Ann Rost, 61, Morrison, passed away Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023 in Drake.
She was born Sept. 21, 1961, to John Alfred and Carolyn Geraldine (Groeber) Jones in Columbia.
She was united in marriage to Gary Lee Rost Nov. 29, 1990, in Jefferson City.
She was employed as certified med tech at several nursing homes in the area as well as a waitress at Sharp Corner Tavern in Hermann.
Julia was preceded in death by husband, Gary; and father, John.
She is survived by mother, Carolyn Jones of Gasconade; sons, Bruce Alan Wehmeyer II and wife Chasity of Grandview and Andrew Wehmeyer and wife Brittany of Bland; daughters, Alicia Wehmeyer and Jennifer Gibson and husband Chad, all of Owensville; sisters, Laura McDaniel of Columbia and Dorothy Cain of Gasconade; brother, Thomas Murray of Gasconade; and 14 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m.,Thursday, Sept. 14 and the funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 15, all at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in Hermann.
Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery in Morrison.
Memorial contributions suggested to the funeral home to help cover expenses.
