Ken Rhey Smith, 77, Lake Ozark, passed away Sept. 3, 2023, at Evelyn’s House in St. Louis, after losing his battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
He was born Feb. 28, 1946, to the late Rudy Smith and Clara (Reinkemeyer) Smith in St. Louis.
Ken served his country in the U. S. Army.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Ken was united in marriage to Maureen Sue Davis May 30, 1971, in Hazelwood.
He worked as a women’s apparel salesman for Collegian Sportswear for many years covering seven states.
Ken enjoyed fishing, playing cards and spending time with his grandsons and family. He never knew a stranger.
Ken was preceded in death by parents, Rudy and Clara; one brother; and four sisters.
He is survived by wife, Maureen; daughters, Julie King of Wentzville and Stephanie Smith of Lake Ozark; grandsons, Tyler King and Alexander Snofke; and sister, Sandy Trikenskas of St. Charles.
Funeral services will be held at a later date in October.
