Louise Dell Bonnot, 92, Linn, passed into eternal life Monday, July 17, 2023, at Jefferson City Manor.
She was born June 29, 1931, to the late Gus and Mattie (Wilson) Mantle in Linn.
She was a 1949 graduate of Linn High School.
Louise was united in marriage to Joseph W. Bonnot Oct. 11, 1950, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn.
She loved working as a waitress at Green Gables Restaurant in Linn before becoming employed at Scholastic March 5, 1968, where she worked for over 25 years.
Louise was a member of St. George Catholic Church.
She loved spending time with her family, such as holiday gatherings, Sunday dinners, family trips and church picnics, and enjoyed visiting neighbors on her daily walks.
Louise was loved and cared for by the staff and residents at Jefferson City Manor where she was a resident for the last 12 months.
She was preceded in death by spouse, Joseph; parents, Gus and Mattie; brother, Elmer Mantle; and longtime friend and companion, Weldon “Bud” Frey.
Louise is survived by sons, Larry R. Bonnot and wife Janet of Jefferson City and Thomas G. Bonnot and wife Debbie of Littleton, Colo.; grandchildren, Shannon Holmes and husband Marc of Jefferson City and Craig Bonnot and wife Mindy and Brian Bonnot and wife Sara, all of Littleton, Colo.; great-grandchildren, Drew and Nolan Holmes of Jefferson City and Joseph and Julia Bonnot of Littleton, Colo.; best friend and sister, Marjorie Rice and husband Carl of Jefferson City; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 9 until 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 3, immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with Rev. Brad Berhorst officiating. Interment will be in St. George Parish Cemetery.
Memorial contributions suggested to St. George School Foundation or Michael J. Fox Foundation for the cure of Parkinson’s Disease.
