Mary Beth (Schaefer) Morrow, 84, Huron, Ohio passed away Dec. 26, 2022.
She was born Jan. 23, 1938, to the late Leo Schaefer and Frances (Wiegers) Schaefer in Westphalia.
She completed nursing school at St. Johns in St. Louis. From there she headed to Los Angeles, Calif. where she met the love of her life, John Morrow. Together they raised their family while she worked as an OR nurse in several large hospitals.
After living in California for 40 years, Mary and John moved to Huron, Ohio in 2004 to be closer to their son, Matt and grandchildren.
She was often seen at the library, as her passions were reading, gardening, bird watching and quilting as an active member of the Huron St. Peters quilting group.
Mary was preceded in death by husband, John; parents, Leo and Frances; son, Daniel Morrow; daughter, Elizabeth Morrow; and brother, Leo Schaefer.
She is survived by son, Matthew Morrow and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Joseph and Sara Morrow of Sandusky, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Heather (Campbell) Morrow of Altadena, Calif.; sister, JoAnn Meara and husband Dan of Kansas City, Kan.; sister-in-law, Janie Schaefer of Westphalia; and many nieces and nephews.
