Matthew Joseph Bauer, 48, of Brinktown, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 8, 1976, to Martin Bernard and Margaret Ann (Boessen) Bauer in Jefferson City.
Matt was a member of the Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Brinktown, and was a 1994 graduate of the Maries R-1 High School, Vienna. He was employed by Diamond Pet Foods, Meta, for 29 years.
He was preceded in death by parents, Martin and Margaret; paternal grandparents, Herman P. and Celestine A. (Winkelman) Bauer; and maternal grandparents, Philip and Alma (Doerhoff) Boessen.
Matt is survived by siblings, David Bauer of Vienna, and Luann Kemna (Larry) of Jefferson City.
A private family disposition ceremony will be held at a later date in the St. Thomas Cemetery, St. Thomas.
