Michael David Tambke, 42, Bonnots Mill, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024, in Bonnots Mill.
He was born April 2, 1981, the son of David Earl and Bernadine (Dutcher) Tambke in Jefferson City.
He was a 1999 graduate of Russellville High School.
Michael was united in marriage to Laci Rachelle Ocheskey June 30, 2018, in Bonnots Mill.
He began his career alongside his father at Tambke Petroleum in Russellville. Later on, he dedicated his time and skills to Sellenriek Construction. Recently, Michael worked as an equipment operator for Local 513 and as a HDD Foreman and Operator for Miller Pipeline.
He had a passion for various activities that brought joy into his life. Michael found solace in hunting and fishing. With a green thumb, he took pride in gardening and canning. In his leisure time, Michael enjoyed engaging in card games and cheering on his favorite sports teams such as the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs. His warm personality allowed him to form deep connections and cherish moments of socializing with friends.
Michael was preceded in death by father, David.
He is survived by wife, Laci of Bonnots Mill; mother, Bernadine Tambke of Russellville; daughter, Mailee Tambke of Jefferson City; step-son, Benjamin Strutton of California; sister, Jenifer Seaver and husband Adam of Russellville; his father and mother in-law, Gordon and Sharon Ocheskey of Bonnots, Mill; brothers-in-law, Brian Ocheske and wife Gayla and Bradley Ocheskey and wife Sheila; and nieces and nephews, Christopher, Justin and Brady Seaver, Karlee and Brenna Ocheskey and Derek and Drew Ocheskey.
Visitation and prayer services were held Monday, Feb. 19, at Trimble Funeral Homes in Russellville with Pastor Ed Merkel officiating.
Memorial contributions suggested to family to help with funeral expenses.
