Mitchell D. McAlister, 67, Morrison, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023 at his home.
He was born Jan. 3, 1956, to the late John and Shirley (Hines) McAlister in Brookfield.
He was united in marriage to Donna S. (Horn) McAlister March 17, 1998, in Hermann.
Mitchell worked for New Florence Wood Products, Pretium Packaging in Hermann and a dairy farm in Myrtle.
He was preceded in death by parents, John and Shirley; and sisters, Monica Banks and Donita Rodden.
Mitchell is survived by wife, Donna of Morrison; daughters, Stormy and Jennifer McAlister, both of Breeze, Ill., Dusty McAlister of Sedalia, Caitlyn McAlister of Holts Summit; sons, Cheyenne McAlister of Thayer and Daniel McAlister of Waynesville; step- daughter, Natasha Rogers of New Haven; numerous grandchildren; sisters, Debbie Ellis of Marshall and Cindy Pink and husband Dennis of Carrollton; and brother, Marty McAlister and wife Kimi of Carrollton.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
