On Sept. 25, 2023, Roger John Redden was called home by his Savior.
He was born Aug. 8, 1959, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.
Roger was loved and respected by everyone he encountered. He lived under the belief that if you work hard and trust the Lord, everything else will fall into place.
Roger dedicated his life to his family and was always willing to give anyone in need a hand.
He enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, a good game of Aggravation, mushroom hunting, old trucks and tractors, crossword puzzles, Cardinal baseball, reading, and was a car enthusiast. Above all, Roger loved reading and studying the Bible.
He was preceded in death by parents, Kenneth John and June D. Redden; and daughter, Jennifery Lynn Redden.
Roger is survived by wife, Lorrainna; brother, Wayne Redden; daughters, Angie Roark and Sarah Redden; grandchildren, Charles and Darion Roark and Chloe Redden; great-grandchild, Sophia Roark; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Oct. 7, at his home, where he retired in Grove, Okla.
Taken too soon, Roger will be missed dearly by all of us. He always ended every conversation with two simple words to live by: BE GOOD.
