Royce William Stafford, 85, Linn, passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehab Center in Jefferson City.
He was born Feb. 9, 1935, to the late Harold and Mildred (Schmid) Stafford in Milwaukee, Wis.
He was united in marriage to Donna (Storm) Lange Dec. 21, 1990, in Jefferson City.
Royce attended Lutheran Schools, the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and served in the U.S. Army and National Guard. After moving to Missouri in 1986, he started his custom furniture woodworking business, from which he retired in 2012.
Royce was past president of the Great Lakes Sport Fishermen Club and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
He was preceded in death by parents, Harold and Mildred; son, Todd Stafford; one grandson; a half-sister and a half-brother.
Royce is survived by spouse, Donna; son, Timothy Stafford of Waukesha, Wis.; daughters, Tammie Gronewold and husband Geno of Wales, Wis. and Tracee Neumann and husband Dwight of Mukwonago, Wis.; stepson, Clay Ryan Lange and wife Karen of Milwaukee, Ore.; four grandchildren; half sister; and two half-brothers, all from Wisconsin.
Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in the Owensville City Cemetery in Owensville.
Memorial contributions suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Arrangements entrusted to Morton’s Chapel in Linn.
