Sharon Kaye Fleeman, 72 of Lee Summit, formerly of Osage County, passed away Tuesday, Sept.12,  2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Sept. 8, 1951, to the late Donald and Louise (Senevey) Crowe in Chamois.

She was a 1969 graduate of Chamois High School and later attended secretarial school in Gladstone.

Sharon was united in marriage to Gene Fleeman July 3, 1989, in Poplar Bluff.

She worked along with her husband in the food service industry where they managed several snack bars and cafeterias throughout Missouri.

Sharon was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed remodeling the homes she lived in and especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren.

Sharon was preceded in death by parents, Donald and Louise; brothers, Jimmy, Jack, Bud and Rick Crowe; and sisters, Stella Groves, Esther Relford, Gladys Kaullen and Evelyn Sue Farnsworth.

She is survived by husband of 34 years, Gene; sons, Derek Boone and wife Jocelia of Lincoln, Neb. and Dustin Craighead and friend Dena Mills of Kansas City; step-sons, Donald Fleeman of Eugene, Ore. and John Fleeman and wife Yvette of Beaverton, Ore.; grandchildren, Banton, Adelie, McKenzie, Rhythm, Aleah, Remedi and Macoy; brothers, Robert Crowe of Linn, Larry Crowe of Hermann, Frank Crowe of St. Louis and Curtis Crowe of Mt. Sterling; sisters, Donna Helfrich of Linn, Betty Nolte of Morrison, Alverda Buscher of Chamois, Debbie Wolfe and Judy Hale, both of Linn and Kathy Reeves of Warsaw; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 26, followed by a Celebration of Life at Morton Chapel in Linn with her nephew, Mike Nolte officiating.

Interment will be in the Linn Public Cemetery.

Memorial contributions suggested to the Show Me Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Missouri.
