Therese A. Fick, 60, Westphalia, went to be with Jesus Monday, July 5, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Dec. 14, 1960, to the late Louis D. and Julia R. (Mendoza) Loaiza in Chicago, Ill.
She was united in marriage to Charles Fick May 26, 1984 in Rich Fountain.
Therese’s mission in life was to uplift others, embody the love of Christ and most importantly, to lead others to Christ. She walked what she spoke, she lived the truth and she was excited to be a bride of Christ. Therese wants you to know that there is infinite peace, freedom and love in Jesus. Her life was a testament to this truth.
She is survived by husband of 37 years, Charles; sons Tim and wife Kristin, Tom and wife Maria and Jesse; grandchildren, Walker, Emma, Titus, Hannah, and Ryan; brothers, Peter, Paul, David, Ralph, Richard, Louis and John; sisters, Maria, Chrissy and Becky; and her loving and cherished friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Memorial Baptist Church. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 9, at Memorial Baptist Church, with Pastor David Newton officiating. Interment will be at Southside Cemetery in Meta.
